Randy & Terrie McArthur
Randy and Terrie McArthur call Mesquite, Nevada home and they love the surrounding desert and the heat! "Out there" they find the solutitude they both love; amazing scenery and a wealth of petroglyphs.
An artist all his life, Randy combines media to create pieces that recall the vivid hues found in this desert country that he ahas grown to honor and love. Although he was born and raised in Roy, Utah, Randy led expeditions throughtout the Desert Southwest and eventually made it his home. It is here he feels most at peace.
Artist and craftsman
For more than twenty years Randy has worked in the trades and recently as a contractor. In his earlier years he was most involved in the speciality electric sign business as a designer and fabricator. there he learned techniques that would be translated into fine art. In the early 1990's he co-founded a successful co-op art gallery, Ancient Future. Randy created art objects modeled after petroglyphs then as he does today.
Terrie Mcarthur
Terrie has a successful business as an interior designer but has always dabbled with art and crafting; from throwing pottery to writing poetry. She has a degree in interior design and a BA in English Literature. She too loves the desert and the peace and connection she feels when out wandering there.
Together they have created these one of a kind pieces that are modeled after the petroglyphs found in the desert and mountains of the southwest. Their desire is that you enjoy the beauty and peace they find in the desert each time you view one of their pieces and that you enjoy the connection to the ancient ones that this art represents
